Andrew Peter Schlegel Jr., age 77, of Owens Cross Roads, AL passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at a local hospice facility. Mr. Schlegel was born in San Diego, CA to Andrew Peter Schlegel Sr. and Barbara McDonald Schlegel . Mr. Schlegel worked at the cotton mill. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Schlegel was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Peter Schlegel Sr. and Barbara McDonald Schlegel. He is survived by his siblings Virginia Yuraska of Huntsville, AL, Mary Ann Garrison of Georgia, Catherine Greenwood of Colorado and Barbara Vreeland of California.

Mr. Schlegel will be buried in Hampton Cove Cemetery. A date and time for the graveside service will be announced by Hampton Cove Funeral Home.
