JoAnn Parker Nash

JoAnn Parker Nash, age 66, of Huntsville, AL passed away peacefully on September 4, 2019. Ms. Nash was born in Okinawa, Japan to Horace and Yoshiko Teruya Parker. She was the proprietor of JoAnn’s Custom Drapery.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Smith, her father Horace Parker and her nephew Danny Parker.

Ms. Nash is survived by her mother Yoshiko Teruya Parker; her son James Nash and his wife Amanda; her daughter Jennifer Sylvester; her brother Yoshi Parker; her sister MaryAnn Parker;  her grandchildren JC Nash and Elizabeth Sylvester; her nephew John Parker Mason; her very dear friend Guy Nash.

An SGI Buddhist Memorial Service will be held at Rocket City Event Center, 735-B Highway 72 East, Huntsville, AL 35810, on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking a donation be made to Hospice Family Care or CCI.
