Lawrence F. Siegmund

Lawrence F. Siegmund, age 93, of Madison, AL passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at a local assisted living facility. Mr. Siegmund was born in Chicago, IL to William and Margaret Siegmund. He worked and retired from Automatic Electric, which previously was GTE, as an Electrical Maintenance Forman. He served in the U. S. Navy and was involved with the Space Pioneers Camping Club and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Mr. Siegmund was preceded in death by his loving wife Rose Sigmund and his parents William and Margaret Bergsma Siegmund. He is survived by his daughters Bonnie Garcia, Barbara Forsythe (Mike) and Beverly Skinner (Donald); sister Margaret Swearengen; grandchildren Rachel, Daniel, Christopher, Jessica, Kyleen and Michelle and great-grandchildren Riley, Anabell, Christian, twins Max and Lou, Owen, Easton, McKenna, Wyatt, Alistair, Jayden, Luke, Dalila and Penelope.
Visitation for Mr. Siegmund will be held on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church from 1:00 to 1:30 pm with his funeral mass following at 1:30 pm. Father Michael Mac Mahon will be officiating. He will be entombed in the mausoleum at Hampton Cove Cemetery with his wife.
