Shirley Joan Brady Parson

Shirley Joan Brady Parson, age 76, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at a local hospital. Mrs. Parson was born in Kinsington, GA to Benton and Audree Brady. Her vocation was taking care of her family and home. She was a member of Cross Point Church. Mrs. Parson enjoyed reading, putting jigsaw puzzles together and watching Atlanta Braves Baseball.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Charles R. Parson and her parents Benton and Audree Brady. Mrs. Parson is survived by her son Chuck Parson and his wife Kelly; daughters Tricia Gregg and her husband Rob and Missy Townsley and her husband Jeff; grandchildren Erika, Chad (Annaliese), Andrew (Kristen), Mackenzie, Walker and Lacey and great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Lyla, Hudson, Teller, Luke, Harrison, Worth, Audrey, Evan and Juliet.

Visitation for Mrs. Parson will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 from10:00 to 11:00 am at Hampton Cove Funeral Home. Her Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory.
