Alice Scranton Shipman

Alice Scranton Shipman, age 81, of Huntsville, Al passed away on Monday, March 23, 2020 at a local hospital. Mrs. Shipman was born in North Carolina to George N. Scranton and Jeanne T. Scranton. She worked for the Department of Human Resources.

Mrs. Shipman was preceded in death by her parents George N and Jeanne T. Scranton and her husband Robert F. Shipman Jr. She is survived by her son George Shipman of Huntsville, AL and her Daughter Elizabeth Alm and her husband James H. Alm of Madison, AL

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2020 at 2:30 pm at Hampton Cove Cemetery. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association in her honor.
