Ann Boswell Obituary

Annie Florence Moore “Ann” Boswell, a long-time resident of Ozark, went to her heavenly home on February 8, 2023 in Huntsville. She was 94. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lehman and Mary Grace Moore of Luverne, and her husband, Lt. Col. (USAF, Ret.) Fred A. Boswell of Ozark. She is survived by her four children: Ron (Vivian) Boswell of Lubbock, TX, June Davis of Griffin, GA, Betty (Bob) O’Reilly of Tallassee, AL, and Fred Jr. (Bekah) of Hazel Green, AL. She had 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was active for decades in the Ft. Rucker community, having been a long-time member of the Post Chapel, the PWOC, and was recognized by the Commanding General as a Ft. Rucker Volunteer of the Year.

The family sincerely thanks the caring staff of Thrive at Jones Farm and Hospice Family Care of Huntsville.

A graveside service will be held at Emmaus Cemetery, Luverne, 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Emmaus Cemetery, c/o Mr. Jim Williams, P.O. Box 701, Luverne, Alabama 36049.
