Anne Marie Tynan was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 27, 1930 to the late Helen Janelle and John Francis Tynan and raised in Toledo Ohio. She was the third of seven children, predeceased by two sisters Betty (Don) Norris and Mary (Jack) Dyer, and two brothers, John (Margaret) Tynan and Peter Tynan.  She is survived by her sister Janelle Tynan of Sunnyvale, CA and brother Michael (Norma) Tynan of Columbus, OH, and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Anne graduated from St. Vincent School of Nursing in Toledo Ohio in May 1951, and married John on December 26, 1951.  They moved to Huntsville in the spring of 1956.  Anne was an active volunteer in the National Association of Catholic Nurses (serving the poor), Holy Spirit School, Brownies, Girl, and Cub Scout Leader, a leader of Holy Spirit Mini-Parish and numerous other church ministries. She was a loyal member of the choir for four decades.

Mom will be missed for her sense of humor and ability to tell a joke at the perfect time. She will be remembered for her smile, organizing and preparing holiday meals and cookouts for her large family. We are comforted knowing she is now playing bridge with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on June 15, from 9:00-10:30 AM followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM with a luncheon following.  Due to current conditions social distancing and the policies of the church will be followed.

Donations may be made in her honor to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul at Holy Spirit Church.
