Barbara Ann Phagan (Bobbie) went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Barbara was a loving wife for over 61 years to William (Bill) Phagan who preceded her in death in 2015. She is survived by her four Daughters, Lillian Caldwell of Georgia, Wanda Renfroe (Alan) of Alabama, Susan Hayes (Don) of Fort Walton Beach, and Janice McHenry (Chad) of Alabama. Barbara is also survived by her sister, Ruth Ainsworth, of Mississippi and brothers, Randy Watts (Deborah) of Mississippi and Richard Watts (Sheila) of Texas. a loving Granny to 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was born and raised in Mississippi where she met her devoted husband who served his country in the USAF. Over his twenty plus year career in the Air Force they were stationed at several bases before their final duty at Eglin AFB and eventual retirement in Fort Walton Beach. She was very active in her church, loved singing in the choir, praising her God, teaching Sunday School and she loved her ladies church group. A devoted homemaker, receptionist for our Dad in his HVAC business, Mom and Granny.
Visitation for Barbara will be Sunday, March 21at at 1:00 PM with a service following at 2:00 PM at Emerald Coast Funeral Home in Fort Walton Beach. She will be laid to rest with Bill at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola on Monday, March 22nd at 11:00 AM with Sons-in-Law and Grandsons serving as Pallbearers.
