Carsten was the beloved brother of Carrie Sanders and a treasured uncle to his nephews, Zachary (Holly) Sanders, Justin (Ashley) Sanders, and Jamie Sanders, as well as his niece, Jessica Sanders. He took immense pride in his role as a great-uncle to Laylon, Wylan, Bradley, Cayden, Alexis, Haley, Bree, and Jasmine. His presence in their lives was a source of endless love and guidance. Carsten was preceded in death by his parents, Ervice Rice and Opal Scott Rice, whose memory he held close to his heart.
