Clifford E. Kerry, Sr

Clifford Eazeb Kerry, Sr., age 82 of Huntsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born on September 29, 1941, in Louisiana to Eazeb and Bernethel Lewis Kerry. Mr. Kerry retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant ; a member of the American Legion in Calhoun County and was an avid LSU Football fan along with the Atlanta Braves Baseball. He loved to get information on all the NASA Space programs and studies that he could.

Clifford was preceded in death by his wife, Cecelia Kerry; parents, Eazeb and Bernethel Lewis Kerry-Butler; infant brother, Eazeb Kerry, Jr., and a sister, Evelyn Kirckel. He is survived by his children, Clifford E. Kerry, Jr, James Oscar Kerry, and Tammy (Larry) Roper; grandchildren, Kali Taylor, Tara Johnson, Collin Johnson, Jeremy Roper, Jessica (Nathan) Speights and Josiah Roper, a host of great grandchildren; brothers, John Kerry and Clifford Butler, Jr.; sisters, Linda Garner, Tisha Berry, Pat Allen, Betty Carlisle and Beatrice Butler; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Hampton Cove Funeral Home with burial in the Hampton Cove Memorial Gardens where military honors will take place. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until service time on Monday. Brother Stephen Shelton will officate.
