Mr. Jimmy Rayburn King, age 77, of Arab, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 1:37 am at his residence. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Wymon Amos (Slick) King and Vela Dean (Tootsie) Blackmon King; a son, Scott L. King; and a brother, Bobby Wayne King.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Easterwood King; 3 daughters: Melanie Jones (Ricky), Jennifer Poe (Aaron), and Keri Godbee (Chad); 1 brother, Billy King; 1 sister, Dean Cox (Phil); 8 grandchildren: Emilie Kay Jones, Jacob Allen Jones (Emily), Payton Morgan Lilly, Averie Brenning Lilly, Anslee Reace Godbee, Adelee Raygen Godbee, Sean David Poe, and Breanna Gail Poe

Service for Jimmy will be Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 2 pm at Eddy Baptist Church, Arab with Rev. Jacob Moody and Rev. Jeff Mann officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 pm at the church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
