Joel Alan Camp, also known as Joey, age 63, of Collinsville, Alabama, formerly of Kennesaw, GA; went to see Jesus after a very brief illness with cancer on February 23, 2022 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, AL. Joey was preceded in death by his Mother, Maverine Watkins Camp. He is survived by his Dad, Ernest Norman Camp, of Collinsville, AL formerly of Kennesaw, GA; his 3 children: Jessica Camp of Kennesaw, Chase Camp of Kennesaw, Josie Smith (Chris) of Cartersville; 3 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter; 1 sister, Cathy Smith (Johnny) of Cartersville, GA. His favorite niece (only niece joke between them), Beth Jordan of Cartersville, nephew, Travis Jordan (Stephanie). 4 great-nephews, 3 great-nieces. His shitzu-yorkie, Ladykiller aka Killer.

Joey is a 1976 graduate of North Cobb High School, Acworth, GA. He worked as a small engine repairman, Handyman of all sorts, and retired from BlueLine Rental.

There will no service at this time. A memorial will be at a later date to spread his ashes as requested.
