Michael Palmer Adams

Michael Palmer Adams of Union Grove, AL, died in Huntsville, AL on February 14, 2022. Mike was born on October 19, 1943, In Mobile, AL, the third son of O.L. (Lucien)  and Sarah Adams. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers, Charles L. Adams and Randolph K. Adams.

Mike attended school in Mobile and the University of Alabama, where he was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. He joined the U.S. Army, was commissioned and served overseas tours of duty in Vietnam and Germany. For his service in Vietnam, Mike was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Army Commendation Medal with "V" device for valor in combat. Returning to Mobile, he graduated from the University of South Alabama and began a long career in the food industry in several southeastern states. Mike was a friend and mentor to many. He loved traveling on his motorcycle, playing golf and meeting people.

Mike leaves behind his nephews Charles Adams (Frances), John Adams (Beth), Thomas Adams (Abbe) and Randy Adams (Nikki); nieces Jane A. McKinney (Raymond) and Angie A. Molyneaux (Doug); sister-in-;law Bettye Jane Adams; former wife Marie Rex; brother-in-law Ronnie Ballentine; as well as great nieces, great nephews, many good friends, restaurant associates, golfing buddies, and motorcycle enthusiasts.
