Norma Jean Lankford
Obituary
Norma Jean Lankford, age 80 of Grant, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 18th. She was born in Rainsville, Alabama on September 21, 1942, to James Sparks and Ila Denney Sparks. Norma loved to sew, sing, and hear her husband, Larry, play music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ila Sparks; sister, Charlotte Davis. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Larry Lankford; sons, Keith (My) Johnson, Eddie (Julie) Johnson, Michael (Tina) Lankford; daughters, Christy Lynn (Damon) Manders, Linda Gail (Todd) Sears, Lisa Joy (Joel) Williams, LeaAnne (Jimmy) Schultz and Sheri Lynn (David) Aycock; sister, Joyce Scales; grandchildren, Meghan, Collene, Athena, Zoey, Gabby, Sarah, Lily, Jacob, Maddie, David, Paige, Abbie, Daniel, Morgan, Makenzie and Shelby; great grandchildren, Camden, Ruby and Daisy.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Hampton Cove Funeral Home with a graveside service at 3:00 PM at Polk Memory Gardens in Cedartown, Georgia.
