Randall Allen Shields

Randall “Randy” Allen Shields, age 67 of Huntsville, AL passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at a local hospital. Randy Shields was born at Fort Benning, GA to Billy F. Shields and Maxine McWhorter Shields. Randy was a very talented artist and truly enjoyed creating joy and wonder through his art. At one time he had written a blog for “Dailey KOS” under the name “OPOL”. Although he had not been as active with it as he once was he was well known and appreciated by a host of followers.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Billy F. Shields and Maxine McWhorter Shields and his brother Ken Shields. Randy is survived by his fiancée Jean Meadows, 
his son Daniel Shields, brother Ron Shields, sisters Pamela Van-Nostrand and her husband Rick and Barbara Hayes and her husband Travis, his beloved dog “Bear” and many nieces and nephews and treasured friends.

Randy will be buried at The Good Earth Burial Grounds Cemetery in Hazel Green, AL and a celebration of Randy’s life will be held by his family at a later date.
