Robert "Toby" Storey

     Robert "Toby" Storey, age 95 of Huntsville, passed away on Tuesday. February 28, 2023, at the Crestwood Medical Center. He was born in Jefferson County, Alabama on January 12, 1928, to Southern Noble Storey and Flossie Pearl Green Storey. He was a member of the Latham Methodist Church and retired from Butler Shoe Company as regional manager.

     Robert was preceded in death by his son, Steven Dale Storey; parents, Southern Noble and Flossie Pearl Storey; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Sara Scott Storey; son, Barry Layne Storey; daughter, Ginger Storey (Steven) Holpp; daughter in law, Donna Storey; grandchildren, Christopher Storey, Jason Storey, Sierra Smith, Sydney Arney and Nicholas Holpp; eight great grandchildren.

     Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Hampton Cove Funeral Home with Brother Jasson Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
