Sandra Jane (Kizziar) Hayes

Sandra Jane Hayes, age 75, of Huntsville, AL passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2020. She was at home surrounded by her family.

Sandra was a beloved mother, grandma, and great-grandma who dedicated her life to taking care of the babies of the family and the elderly alike. She was a spitfire with a heart of gold, and left her mark wherever she went. She was the rock of the family and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Jessamine and Hiram Kizziar, and her nephew, Keith Clark.

She is survived by her husband, Francis 'Skip' Hayes, daughter Penny Moore of Huntsville, AL and son Brian Hayes and his wife Lizanne of Philadelphia, PA. Grandchildren Eli Moore, Jennifer Bracken, and Jessica Bracken of Huntsville, AL and Maddie and Julia Poeta of Philadelphia, PA. Great-grandchildren Zoe and Abby Bracken, Kyler and Kash Vinson of Huntsville, AL. Sisters Robin and her husband Oran Jones of Wylie, TX and Phyllis Clark of Benton, AR and brother Mike Kizziar and his wife Sherry of Friendship, AR. Last but not least, her loving niece, Trayce Clark, of Benton, AR who took amazing care of Sandra for the last few years up until her last breath.

There will not be a funeral held, per her last wishes, but a private celebration of life for family members in the time to come.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
