Sarah Sue (Hoots) Edmondson

Sarah Sue Hoots Edmondson, 81, of Huntsville, Al, passed away on October 27th surrounded by loving family.

Sue was born March 7, 1942 in Tuscaloosa, Al, the daughter of Calvin and Johnetta Shepherd Hoots.

A fan of the Crimson Tide she attended Tuscaloosa High School and the University of Alabama. 

She was active in dance clubs and would often travel to different events. Among other things she was an avid writer, painter and genealogist.

Sue attended Methodist churches her whole life and was always active - volunteering locally and for mission trips; as a youth leader and most recently as a Seniors group leader. 

She was a lifelong traveler visiting all over the continental United States, Hawaii, Europe numerous times and the Middle East.

In all her life's journeys Sue left behind giving and love to others.

Sue is survived by her two sons Rhett and Murray and her two grandsons Luke and Sam.

The family will have a private memorial service.
