Obituary

Scott Manuel Sheaks, born on June 11, 1964, in Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2023, in Woodville, Alabama. Known for his friendly demeanor, quick wit, and handy skills, Scott left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone he encountered.

Scott was a man who wore many hats, and he wore them all with pride and joy. His love for nic-nac and carpentry was evident in the beautiful pieces he created, and his passion for the open road was fulfilled through countless rides in his truck. His infectious laughter and friendly nature made him a beloved figure in his community. He was a beacon of light, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a funny joke to brighten someone's day.

Scott is survived by his son, Scott (Felicia) Sheaks Jr., and daughters, Haley Womack (Devin Burris) and Heather Sheaks. His love for his children was profound and unwavering. He was a devoted father, always there for his children, providing guidance, support, and endless love. His legacy will continue to live on through his nine grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye. Their "Grandpa Scott" will always be remembered for his love, warmth, and the fun times they shared together.

Scott was the cherished brother of Dale (Kathy) Sheaks, Steve Sheaks, Jerry (Amanda) Woodall, Candi Sheaks, Cindy (Barney) Talley, Cassie (Mike) McClendon, Carmen (John) Cook, and Charlotte (Mark) Moon. His siblings will forever remember him as a loving and protective brother, always ready with a funny story or a helping hand. He was a pillar of strength for his family, and his love and support will be deeply missed.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents, Dale E. Sheaks and Earlon Baugh Sheaks. He was a beloved son who held a special place in his parents' hearts. His respect and love for his parents were evident in the way he lived his life, and their teachings and values will continue to live on through him.

Scott's life was a testament to the fact that happiness lies in the simple things. His love for his family, passion for his interests, and his friendly and funny nature made him a joy to be around. He was a man who believed in the power of a good laugh, a kind word, and a helping hand. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.

Scott Manuel Sheaks was a man of many talents and interests, but above all, he was a man of great love and kindness. His life was a beautiful tapestry of love, laughter, and service, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.

In his honor, let us remember Scott not with sorrow but with gratitude for the love, laughter, and joy he brought into our lives. His memory will forever be a beacon of light, guiding us towards love, kindness, and laughter. Scott Manuel Sheaks, you will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on forever.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date and time.
