Thomas Hampton Bynum

Thomas Hampton Bynum was born January 18, 1942 to Lillian Ellenburg Bynum and Riley Denson Bynum in Boaz, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wonderful wife, Linda Clement Bynum, who passed away September 11, 2019.

Survivors include an aunt, Arnettie Ellenburg Wright, many Ellenburg, Bynum and Holder cousins, friends from Boaz High School, NASA, neighbors, Twickenham Church of Christ and especially his Care Giver, Crystal Steelman and her family.

Tom graduated from Boaz High School in 1960, attended Snead Jr. College and graduated with a degree from Montevallo. He served in the Army and worked for NASA for 40 years, totaling 45 years serving our government.

Service for Mr. Bynum will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Hampton Cove Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm with Bro Jody Vickery officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 1 until 2 pm. Entombment will follow in Hampton Cove Mausoleum.
