Toby Darin Williams

Toby Darin Williams, 51 of Huntsville AL, passed away surrounded by loved ones under the care of Huntsville Hospice Family Care on Wednesday, July 19, 2023.

Toby was born on March 18, 1972, in Adrian MI to Harvey and Shirley (Willnow) Williams. He graduated from Adrian High School in 1990 and then attended the Margaret O’Brien School of Modeling after graduating from high school. SSGT Williams proudly served 1992-2001 in the United States Marine Corps for more than 9 years. Toby graduated in 2003 from Graham Webb Academy Cosmetology School in Arlington VA and later received an Associate degree from Columbia College in 2018. Toby worked several years for the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville AL as a government contracted program analyst before working for Toyota in northern AL. He enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, dancing, participating in many social activities, and entertaining others with his charismatic personality. Most of all, Toby loved his family, friends and his pets. Toby is survived by his stepmother, Perry Wanda Williams of Shelbyville TN. His siblings, Tammy (Gary) Sheldon of Blissfield MI, Teresa Williams of Adrian MI, and Tracy (Sherrill) Williams of Blissfield MI. Stepsiblings, David (Angela) Cook of Reeders PA, Theresa Adams, and Kenney (Mary) Cook of Shelbyville TN. Along with several nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother Tyrone Williams; stepsister, Cindy Cox; two infant nephews; and his beloved pets.

Much appreciation goes to all the medical facilities and their staff for the great quality of care provided during his fight with cancer. A special heartfelt thank you goes to Toby’s dear friends, Brian Banks, Maikool Gomes, and Jill Gibbs-Frizzell for all their love and support when he needed them most. Toby was truly blessed to have such incredible friends.

Per Toby’s wishes, cremation has taken place. His ashes will be interned at St. John’s Cemetery in Adrian MI at a later date. A celebration of Toby’s life will be held in Huntsville AL, details will be posted on Facebook.
