Wanda Janette (Mitchell) Harper

Wanda Janette Harper, age 78, of Huntsville, AL passed away at home on August 25. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Scott Harper; daughter, Lisa White (son-in-law, James White); son, Jeffrey Harper (daughter-in-law, Haley Harper); son, James Harper; grandchildren: Victoria Reddick, Brandon White, Ashley Harper; and great-grandson, Oliver Reddick.

Jan was born in Tuscaloosa, AL on May 30, 1944, to Edna and Kenneth Mitchell. In 1952 she moved to Connecticut where she met her husband and had 3 children. She moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1982. 

She was an avid fan of Alabama football, loved sewing, and many other crafting projects.

Graveside services will be held on September 2nd at 2:00 pm at Hampton Cove Funeral Home Cemetery.
